    Just today I refrained from stocking up on berries because I'm so fed up of them going mouldy before I get round to them! So thanks for the post, I'm back off to the market this evening to stock up again :)

    Wow great tip! I just love berries but as you say they fade fast after buying them....I'm going to go home and rinse my strawberries tonight ;o)

    Got this in an e-mail from a friend of mine. It definitely works. Had fresh strawberries, did this and they lasted a lot longer.

    this is great advice! going to try this today! i spend SO much money on berries and you're right - most of the time by the time i go to eat them they have gone bad! grrrr :sad:
