Hi all, I've pretty much been battling with my weight and flab the whole of my life since being a very heavy child and teenager. Since I was my heaviest I've managed to lose almost 100lbs. I'm very toned and I do a lot of cardio (Aerobics, stationary bike, walking, recently purchased a treadmill so lots of running) and make sure to do 30 minutes of strength training 4-6 times a week but I cannot get rid of my belly flab and it's so frustrating as I know my abs are rock hard under there!...

Any suggestions as to what I could possibly change would be awesome.

P.s, in the recent two weeks my calorie intake was upped from 1200 to 1400 to 1500 to 1700 as I've been so hungry and I think my body is overall changing.. Another question is should I be eating my normal recommended daily allowance? 2000?.. So confused with calorie intake also and eating back exercise calories (most of the time i try not to eat them or only eat some)..

Thanks!

x

I'd like to know this too, as I am the exact same height & weight as you (although much older at 42). :embarassed:

I have a 2.5 year old, and the post-baby belly flab is the one thing I'm trying to get rid of. They say you can't spot reduce or eat certain foods to help with this, so I'm curious to know what has worked for others who have successfully lost the flab!

seriously best thing I've found- and lots of people will say these dont work.. but i use them every week and I have proof they do.... skin tightening wraps. Its just amazing. I still do strength training and ab work etc... but its spectacular.
  • Where can I get them? Anywhere in the UK? I used firming gels, creams and oils twice a day and it helps a LOT with firming my skin up but it's just the FAT that I can't move!

Its so frustrating when you work so hard and I'm way past my goal and I am STILL not HAPPY.

The only thing to do is lower your overall body fat percentage. You can't spot reduce :(

The wraps are usually only a temp fix... not a permanent one.
