How rude are these people?!?! I know you have only been here a week or two, but surely you have learnt to encourage people on here?! She looks stunning in her after picture, and has clearly worked super hard. Jealousy is never attractive.

Ok, I just thought I'd chime in here.
I understand there are mixed comments on her photo, and I don't think any of them are meant to be harmful or mean in any way. People are just looking out for her. If she is healthy than I am happy for her, and as far as I know she is because of her BMI range.

However, it bothers be A LOT when people use the "jealousy" excuse. Saying that "jealousy is never attractive" is implying that all the comments against her weight loss were because of jealousy, which is probably complete bs. I hear girls say this phrase a lot in an effort to make themselves feel better and it's really aggravating.

this thread has really gotten away from it's orginal intent!

let's make it simple...if you like someones progress, then by all means comment or compliment them on it...if you don't... then keep it to yourself!! it is one thing if you know someone, and feel like they have a "problem", and you wanna say something to HELP them! But we don't know each other, and most likely making certain comments, would not help someone past this type of thing on here anyways...so why even bother!!

I think she looks great in BOTH of her pics, I DON'T THINK she is too skinny, nor do I think the topic should be discussed on this "meant to be positive board" anymore.

I finally made a collage! Before- 156 lbs, After-136 lbs.

Hi.. I am the same height as you and of small frame, currently at 154 (altho I look a lot bigger than you do in your before pic!!) I have had two kids though... It's nice to see how I might look in the 130's, I was aiming for 125-120 but you look lovely and slim at 136 so I would be happy just to get there. Ignore the bad comments, as long as you're healthy and happy then who cares what others think x

Edit to add. You also looked lovely and slim at 156 !! ;)

Congratulations everyone! This is so very motivating! Purple dress chick- you're rocking it! Glad you replied to the people who said you look "too thin." I think esteem change is so much more important than what the scale says. Cheers to all! :drinker:

And there are some hottie guys on here too

OMG Girl - you rock...I'm at 183 or so now and look like your before picture...although I'm down 20+ already...this gives me hope!!!!!

Can't wait to be 160...don't think I can go much lower than that, but I'd love to look like your now pic!!!!

I don't know if I already posted but here is most up to date. From 186 and now 133. Not aiming for weightloss just trying to turn the jiggle to muscle. I have a few runs planned but my goal is the Tough Mudder in August :)

WOW ! How much did your weight change?
I went from just over 200 pounds (I think 204 was my peak) down to the high 140's ala nothing but cardio, Insanity, and P90X. Since then I've been working on stacking on pound after pound of muscle. I just hit 180lbs the other day!
