Belly fat - stubborn!

Hi guys, I would just like to ask for some tips on losing the stubborn belly fat i have.
I have lost nearly 7kg and I am now at my target weight, but i still have a belly fat that doesn't look to great, i guess you could call me "skinny fat"
My exercise routine is as follows:
Monday:
Planks x3 - as long as possible
Supermans(lower back) x3 - long as possible
Push up's slow and controlled x10 reps, 3 sets
Tricep dips x10 reps, 2 sets
Suitcase crunches x15, 3 sets
Crunches x10, 3 sets
30 mins cardio on elliptical trainer
Tuesday:
Squats(body weight) x10 reps, 3 sets
Squat Jumps x10 reps, 3 sets
30 min cardio on elliptical trainer
Wendesday:
Same as Monday
Thursday:
Same as Tuesday
Friday:
Same as Monday/Wednesday
Now one thing I am still working on is my diet, I used to eat junk flat out, but now I am switching that up slowly, I have 2 cheat days at the moment where I could get take away, drink alcohol etc. This is really hard to overcome, and I'm thinking that this is what is causing my belly to stay the way it is.
If anyone has some tips on some new exercises to try, and how to set your mind to think of a better meal than take away that would be great
Thanks

Hi Diskotek, try incorporating Tae Bo Insane Abs into your routine. You can preview the workout on Collagevideo.com. Check your local stores (Walmart, Target, Kmart, etc.) for the workout or Amazon.com. It's cheaper on Amazon than Collagevideo.com. I think this will help you out. Your local library might even have it.0

don't think you can spot reduce fat (i have the same problem area), you just have to be patient. i have started lifting weights as this is highly recommended on here. i also like my takeaways but have switched from chinese to indian. don't know if your in the US or UK so takeaways may be different. i'm in the UK and have Tandoori Chicken Tikka - I have the whole salad + a kebab salad, 4 or 5 pieces of the chicken and 2 tbsps rice - i actually enjoy it more than the chinese. just need to find substitutes for mcds and kfc now0

The only way to get rid of belly fat is cardio and reducing overall body fat. Spot training will only help you develop the muscles in the area. You should do cardio 2-3 times a week to see if it helps.0

I found another post on here about tips on losing it. And some people are saying that the spot reducing is useless and doing things like squats, dead lifts work more of your core than the crunches. I may have to give this a go, it will also change up my exercise routine as my body is probably used to my current one by now.0

Add weights to your workout. Your body is probably used to your body weight squats by now. More full body exercises, plyometrics and compound movements, like burpess, mountain climbers, tuck jumps, lunges with bicep curls, etc0

I agree with adding weights. Try different cardio after your strength training too. Your body adapts to exercises after awhile and burns less calories doing them. Adding weight and/or intensity or changing things up can help.0

stronglifts 5x5 looks interesting. i'm starting that after my hols - no cardio, yeah!!0

Thanks people I will try adding some weights to my squats and add in some different strength training and will post back here in a few weeks to a month, hopefully with some results!0

While the exercise is great, look to your diet as well. I switched the way I was eating and lost 2 1/4 inches off my belly in one month. Cut down on refined, processed foods and look towards clean eating. Increase your leafy greens and cut down on sodium. It is amazing what tweaking your diet can do for you!0

If your drinking beer. It kills the belly. I limit myself to one day on the weekend where I drink as many beers as i want compared to before when I drank about 4 days weekly. Since I have cut down my beer intake my belly is dwindling. Probably not what you wanted to hear. LOL0

Haha I only drink once a week anyway, usually a Friday or Saturday night, but i do binge when i do, 10 plus beers, so I do need to cut that out lol.
havingitall: That is one thing that is hard to stop, the processed stuff, i'm getting better at it though!0
