I never really though about being overweight as a huge issue to be honest.. ya I've always been a bit heavier. But this past year, i have gained 40 pounds so fast! i now have stretch marks form the quick weight gain and my asthma also was effected. i went from using my inhaler about 2-3 times a year, to using it 5-6 times a day... this is horrible. anything i do now makes me wheeze. i am always out of breathe and i feel like my health is in jeopardy because i let myself get so big. i am 5'5 and weigh 210 pounds. it is not only embarrassing and it not only kills my confidence, but it is now affecting my life. being very overweight or obese is a serious issue! I wish you all the best in your healthy life style journeys! Don't wait until it affects your health to start losing weight like i did.

Have you seen your doctor regarding the increased inhaler usage? That's not normal usage of an MDI, as you well know, and I wonder if something else is going on? Just don't feel so badly about yourself and your weight that you attribute a serious non-related issue to being overweight.
