Eat this or that?

Currently a Low-carb Monster addict, preferring the 20 cals vs. the 50 found in coffee creamer, but after investigating I discovered Monsters have lots of sodium in them! I do feel like sodium has been a hindrance for my weight-loss. What's a caffeine addict to do?

Tea, unsweetened.0

Use coffee creamer in your coffee, it's just an extra 30 calories, burn it off with exercise?
Also, sodium doesn't impact your fat loss, it just makes you retain water that can MASK fat loss on the scales. Sodium has no calories in it, and thus cannot make you gain weight.0 -
Thanks for the info, I just need to see numbers soon Getting discouraged.0

Put milk in your coffee. Or use the creamer. 30-50 calories is easily burned off. Or drink it black. If you get good quality coffee, no milk or sugar is needed.0

Coffee + a splash of skim milk.
I like it almost black, the milk just cools it off a little.
Creamer is too thick for me.0 -
Most energy drinks are terrible for you, in my opinion. There are so many chemicals, artificial coloring, etc. I also have a low caffeine tolerance so even a cup of black coffee can make me lose my mind. I had straight up hallucinations after drinking an Amp and getting too little sleep once. I don't worry about sodium intake too much, since it just makes you bloat, not retain fat (though too much over a long period of time is related to heart disease).
I drink unsweetened tea mostly, and depending on what kind you get they have a fair amount of caffeine (though less than coffee). But tea is zero calories, so I drink it in place of water sometimes. If I do sweeten my coffee or tea, I use something natural like honey or agave syrup and milk or almond milk.0 -
I'd say enjoy your coffee... and take the stairs or walk an extra block to make up for the calorie hit. I'm REALLY not a fan of energy drinks, though, so your mileage may vary.0

Sometimes it isn't even the caffeine it's just the way that the blue Monster tastes. I just love it. I could have had coffee but I will still crave that energy drink. It's almost like those girls that just haaaave to drink a diet coke. But it's just a habit, like anything else I guess. Could be broken with hard work! (and they sure are expensive)0
