30DS Calories Burned

I was told to use "Circuit Training" for 26 minutes for the 30DS. Now I am on Level 2 and I am defninitely burning more calories for that 26 minutes than I was in Level 1. What should I put Level 2 under since it's more instense?

I'm not sure, I would keep it at the same thing because as you get stronger you have to work harder to burn more calories regardless. Also, MFP overestimates calorie burn by about 33% anyways, so it's not like it's completely accurate. I'd keep it understimated if I were you because it's safer..0

When I did the 30DS I just kind of guestimated how many extra calories I was burning. For example, the "circuit training" in general gives you a calorie burn of something around 230 calories for 25 minutes. For level two, I just manually put in that I burned 260 calories. If you want it to be completely accurate though, I have no clue Hope I helped!0

I'm 194, 5' and 26. I burn about 289 on level one, sometimes more, just to give you an idea. Consider investing in an HRM (heart rate monitor). They are somewhat expensive, but amazon has some great deals. definitely shop around. Best of luck!!0

I just completed 30DS and for the most part I logged it in as 'circuit training' on MFP. I also assumed that MFP was overestimating my calorie burn so I invested in a Heart rate monitor. To my surprise I was burning more calories than estimated by logging my 30DS workouts as 'circuit training.' So my best advice to you is to invest in a heart rate monitor. On the (very) few occasions that I did it, I logged it as circuit training. A friend of mine does it using her HRM, and burns about 265 calories for level 2. The circuit training for 20 minutes was pretty close the that amount, so I'd say it's pretty accurate.0

Currently it shows that I burn 197 for 26 minutes of 30DS Level One, that's with me being 5'2'' and 124 pounds.
I guess I will just leave it as Circuit training for now until I invest in a Heart Rate Monitor!

I just used my HRM for the first time last night for level 1 of the 30 day shred. I am pretty close to the same height and weight as you and I burned 197 calories.0
