Cute weightloss tracking idea.

Hey guys, I made this recently to track my weightloss. I keep it in my kitchen to remind me to stay on track. I get so excited to drop those little stones from the "Pounds to Lose" jar to the "Pounds Lost" jar! It only costs about $6 to make at any dollar store. :)

It's kept me on track thus far (with the help of MFP too, of course!). :flowerforyou:

    I saw this on Pinterest and have been wanting to make one. I went to the Dollar Store the other day and found the little stones and jars, but I couldn't find any lettering to put on it.

    A buddy of mine is doing the same thing. We went to hobby lobby...she found a "fat" glass for weight to lose /__\ and a skinny for lbs lost |_| so she didn't even have to mark them. So great!

    cute idea! i measure in kilos though.. anyone has any good idea on something that weighs exactly 0.5kg and isn't too big?

    The little stones don't actually weigh a pound. :smile:

    They just represent each pound to go and each pound lost. :flowerforyou:

    Look in any scrapbooking section. That's where I found mine!

    Haha. That was my first thought too. But those jars are holding 75 stones with plenty of room! Thankfully the dollar store sells them in big bags. :S

    I can't take credit, a friend gave me the idea. But it definitely keeps me motivated. I've always had trouble staying on track, but I find myself SO BLOODY EXCITED to move those damn little stones that I stay on tract. Not forgetting to mention that every time I walk into the kitchen it's staring me straight in the face. :)
