Pilates

I have only have done this a handful of times and was thinking about adding this in a couple times a week to work on those trouble spots along w/ strength training. Has anyone done pilates and how has it helped you?

    I do Pilates regularly, after being told to by a sports physician who is a great advocate of it for all sorts of athletes. I have lumbar hyperlordosis (an over pronounced arch in my back) which has caused me all sorts of problems but pilates helps no end. It has improved my core strength tremendously. I would recommend finding a good teacher though, because it can be quite subtle and it's easy to do it wrong if you don't have the correct guidance.

    I can't really afford the teachers or instructors. I was thinking about doing the online or DVD workouts.
