i know this is a stupid question but around how much do you have to weigh to fit in to a size 18

    I'm 5'9" and 227 pounds. I wear a size 18.

    I think everyone would be different, depending on height and body shape.

    I was a 16 on bottom at 210 pounds. I am 5'4 and pear-shaped (a 10-12 on top at that time).

    Yea its different with everyone I think... like she said depends on ur height and body shape at my highest weight of 227 and im 5' 7" I was Almost a size 18... depending on the brand of jean... and now at 212 pounds, I am anywhere from a 14-16 also depending on brand of jean! :)

    I'd say I was about 210 - 220+ pounds (95 - 100 kg) when I used UK size 18. Is it different from the US? But I probably still use 18 in some clothes, it really depends on the brand! I'm about 5'5".

    i started at 215lbs and i was in a 16...i'm down to a 14 (pushing 12) and i have lost 8lbs and 13 inches

    I was in an 18 before I joined MFP and I was around 220. I am 5'1.

    It definitely depends on genetics...I carry the majority of my weight in my top half so pants that fit my waist are big on my butt and thighs. 5'7 and was a size 18 when I weighed 230-240 pounds.

    I'm 5'7" I wore a size 18 at 250....I wore a size 18 at 200....I think I started to fit into a 16 when I was 180....I have a big butt and big hips.....I believe in high school when I was 150 (my target weight) I wore a size 14. It's a curse. :(

    thanks i'm 5"5 227 pounds now i have a bet with my sister that i can get down to a size eighteen by the end of march this helps me know how far i got to go i carry my weight in my tummy thank you god its going down

    Im pretty sure it all depends on height weight and body shape. Im 5'6" 215lbs and very hippy. I wear a size 18 as well. Even at my lowest weight(150) I still wore a 12.

    It completely depends on your body composition. There's really no way to tell ya hun. Everyone is different. I'm 5'8" and wore an 18 at 220 lbs.

    i am 5'4" and have been a size 18 from 252 to my current 235. i only wear american eagle jeans and for some they run big.

    depends on many other factors not just your weight

    but when I started MFP at 213pounds I was in a snug size 16 jeans and I`m 5 `5

    currently 170pounds :) and a size 10 and can get into some 8`s :)

    Right!, Everyone is different... i am 5'4" and i only just got out of a 16 some of them still fit... i was in an 18 for a very long time. I was 198 wearing a 22/24 and then once i lost 10 pounds i was able to wear an 18 and stayed in that size for months. it wasnt until i lost around 20 to 25 pounds that i could finally wear a 14 and then it was iffy...

    Me too. I am roughly 173 and wear a 18 although people say I dnt look a 18!!

    5'3'' Apple shaped, plus pregnancies=bigger tummy than usual. I fit into my size 18 at around 202lbs. Right now I'm around 198 and still fitting comfortably.

    At 222lbs (5'5") my size 18 jeans were snug, now at 202 they fall down, but I do have a few size 18 that fit just right now. Depends on the brand of pants too.
