If you are 5'9 or taller- what weight did you find comfortable?.. I am not trying to lose so much weight that I look like I need a sandwich.

hahahah...love this..need a sandwich!! bahahah. Well.. I am exactly 5'9. When I weighed 155 that was perfect for me, that put me in a size 10 and I looked **** hot!! that being said, I looked and felt comfortable at 160 ish too.....I am now 180...and I am looking to lose 25 ish pounds, but may even stop at 20 lbs as I have a lot more muscle than I used too! Everyone so different, some girls at 5;9 would feel fat at 160, 165...good luck on your journey regardless!0

I am 6 feet tall and I am aiming for 200lbs right now but I think my end goal will be 190lbs1

Funny- my good friend keeps telling me to 'have a snack'. I'm 5' 10' and 146. 1 lb to go! I'm certainly not too thin - my goal now is toning. smile:2

I am 5'10''
I got to approx 168lb last time and prob needed to lose another 10lbs or so and tone up a little more.
My aim will be about 160 and I will take it from there1 -
5'9" am aiming for under 150, 145 would be great, but don't think lower would work for me (or be possible!)1

hiya
i am 5-9 and my goal weight is 153.5. I am not there yet so do not know if I am going to have to adjust it, but I am only 6 pounds off and it still seems ideal for me.0 -
I am 6'1" and currently 235lbs but I think 198lbs is comfortable for me. I know what you mean about not wanting to look like you need a sandwich lol too funny!0

I feel like I post this a lot but, oh well. Currently at 145 and happy, would like to get to 140 to be happier.0

I'm 5'10 and hoping to get back to 165-170. I was a size 10-12 and felt comfortable in my clothes.1

i'm 5'11. I believe my ultimate goal will be 160. That is what I weigh now, however, I plan on losing about 5-10 more pounds of fat and then gaining muscle back to about 160.0

I'm 5'10" with an athletic build and weigh 152 and I'm planning on staying here. I wear a 4 or a 6 - mostly a 6.1

hey
I'm 5 feet and 10.5 inches. my doctor told me he would like to see me at 150. I'm aiming for 170-ish and the doc can take it or leave it- it's better then 340!1 -
I am aiming for 150, I don't remember what I look like there but I know when I was a lot lower (118)I did look like I needed some turkey, dressing and a pie, a sandwich wasn't going to cut it!0
-
As a 5'8" tall male I look up to you ladies trying to be healthy. Literally!1

I'm 5'9" and as of this morning was 174.6. My ultimate goal is 150 but right now I'm looking to get to 160. When I graduated HS I weighed 130 and definitely looked like I needed a sandwich or 6!!0

I'm 5'9", and before I started gaining weight, I was 165 pounds. I was very active- I felt and looked good.
A lot of people use their BMI to decide what a healthy weight for them is (also, some people don't agree with that- to each their own). It's only one way of measuring, but it's a good way to get an idea to start.0 -
I am 5ft 11.5 inches...ok maybe 6ft tall and I just started P90X and the weight that I am most comfortable lifting is 10lb dumbbells..it really should be 8lbs but I could not find any 8 lbs at the time of purchase. However, do what feels comfortable for you. If you're trying to get lean, go light with more reps/sets..15-20 reps and 3 sets of each. I hope it helps..
Have a fabulous day!0 -
I'm 5'9" and aiming for size 8, which is somewhere around 150 for me.0

5'10 and currently 153. My first goal weight was 150, but now that I'm so close I still feel quite large so I'm going to reset it to 145-150. It's so crazy seeing people around my height and weight and they look so much smaller then I do.0

I am 5'9 i am looking at 175 or 1800

I am 5'9" and currently weigh 153 & wear size 8 jeans/pants
For me it's more about losing inches and toning than what the scale says, but I'm still shooting to get to 145-148 although I've been happy with my weight since I was about 160ish0 -
Me 5...currently 244...and 6ft tall..my doc says 210 is perfect because of my xtra large frame...um..who says that? Anyway, I would rather be under 200 lbs..I will take 199.9 as long as I'm under...0

Oh god I feel like I'm completely underachieving right now! I'm 5'9" right now and my goal is 180 and then reassess. I can't imagine myself ever getting lower than 170 without looking like a skeleton. I'm very big-boned (seriously, I am! My skeleton is huge! LOL) and I think I'd look skeletal if I went lower than 170. So I'm going to play it by ear. I'll truly be thrilled if I get into a size 10 or 12 - I think that would look very healthy on my build. But I'll play it by ear. :-)1
