On most days I eat them on the day I earn them, but I've been noticing when I have a long workout and earn alot, that I am starving the next day. If I don't use them all on the day I earn them, but use a little the next is that ok, as long as I don't go over for the week? What do you guys think? What do you do?

I personally don't worry about eating them all back - if my body is telling me I'm hungry then I'll eat, if it's not then I won't. I can't see how the body can 'reset' its self overnight so I'd say averaging over a week wouldn't be such a bad thing. This is only my view though :-))

Under one day / over the next is fine as long as you can manage it. SOme dieters do this on purpose, it's called Zig-Zagging.

As long as I'm under for the week ..... I'm good.

I also go to bed hungry a lot of the time; but I just feel that, in time, my stomach will shrink and get used to eating less and burning more. Maybe I'm wrong; but usually I try to fit in a light snack after a workout to compensate for that.

Oversimplification, but generally your body reacts in an analog fashion. So over and under as long as you are looking at the total for the week being where you want it, you should be fine.

I only eat back exercise calories if I'm below NET of my BMR which is 1400.

I try to average my goal over the week. Some days I'm a little over, some days I'm a little under. I don't think bodies work in "days" I think it is more of a continuum.

i think it is fine to do over a week instead of each day.

as long as you arent going too far over or under very often.
