I use 1# lean ground beef, 1 egg, 1-2 slices of bread broken up, Ketchup (? 1/4 c), 1/2? slasa, and some cinnamin ?1/4 tsp Salt and Pepper to taste. Mix it all up and bake.
I really just through stuff together. Sometimes I add mustard hot peppers and whatever is in the refrig. I am not much of a recipe preson.0 -
ground sirloin, brown rice, chopped onion, chopped garlic, add no salt added tomato sauce to the mix, salt and pepper, stuff into peppers and cover with more sauce, I put mine in the crock pot, yum!0

Brown rice, chopped tomato, oregano, basil, feta cheese, salt and pepper. I use the same for stuffed tomatoes too.0

YUMMY!! I use 1 pound Ground turkey breast, 1/2 cup quaker oats, 1 chopped onion, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1 egg, some Worchestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Stir all together and stuff in your peppers. Such a great dinner!! Oh yeah, I put a little ketchup on the top of each pepper. You could use tomato sauce instead of ketchup!

I make them Italian style: mix together ground turkey (or soy crumbles, if you're so inclined) that have been sauteed with a couple of cloves of garlic with a couple of egg whites, some brown rice (not a lot), chopped onion, and red pepper (add the egg whites last to prevent scrambling the egg white). I pour some spaghetti sauce over the top of the peppers, and then I then sprinkle some low-fat or fat free mozzerella cheese on top, cover the dish, and then bake at 350 for about an hour (I like my peppers to not be soggy). If you think the filling is too dry, you can always put a little spaghetti sauce in that too.0

My recipe is pretty flexible - for each pepper I add equal parts cooked meat, tomato sauce and rice. I also add whatever veggies I have on hand (chopped finely) too.
The only "trick" I have is to cook the rice for half the time it says before you stuff the peppers and cook them in the oven. I use brown rice, so in the 20 minutes to cook it halfway I cook the meat and add the sauce and veggies in a big skillet. Then I mix in the rice and stick the whole thing in the oven for an hour or hour and a half at 350 F.0 -
