NSV - stress eating

I had a stressful morning - had to take my daughter to the ER (she's fine) so I missed my planned morning run and a couple hours of work. I dropped her off at daycare after the ER and went back home (I work out of my home). Six weeks ago I would have grabbed a chocolate bar and sat down to work and been grumpy the rest of the day. I've always turned to food in times of stress. But today, I did a DVD workout, showered, ate a healthy salad with lentils, and got down to work. Yes, I still have to do more work tonight after I put my daughter to bed, but I made one deadline, I'm in a good mood and most importantly I didn't turn to stress eating!

sweet! That's awesome! I'm quite enjoying finding new outletts for my stress management. Chocolate is a treat, not a tool!0
