I set up my profile and put I led an sedentary lifestyle. Currently I exercise everyday except Sundays.. Would I change this? I get at least 45 min of some type of exercise per day.

    - If your activity level is set at sedentary then you need to log your exercise and eat those calories to ensure that your body is getting enough nutrition. (This is the general concept with MFP - you only get credit for exercise when you actually do it, not just promising to do it like other calorie calculators).

    - If you can't cope with the concept of "eating exercise calories", then change your activity level to active but don't log the exercise separately.

You end up eating about the same amount, you just need to pick one way and stick to it.

I put in the exact same thing but they are basing it off of how much you are moving throughout your day and not just your designated workouts. So I wouldn't change is and just log the exercise. And congrats on the 45 minutes a day! I wish I had the time to do 45 minutes EVERY day.... (staring into space with wishful look)....

The advantage of going with sedentary plus eating your calories is if you go on vacation, or get sick or start working a bunch of overtime, you're only eating the calories you actually use in exercise. It's a nice self-regulating system.
