It used to be crackers and Sprite, but I don't want either of those right now :frown:

This may be tmi but when I was on BC they made me nauseous when I started a new pack. I would always eat carrots. Not sure why it helped, but it did.

I've heard bcp can do that; I don't take them though. I do feel just like I have morning sickness today  I'm NOT pregnant (or if I am, I have a serious bone to pick with a surgeon, heh). I ate some toast and feel a bit better.

Something with ginger. I know it's not the healthiest, but when I was pregnant ginger snap cookies helped me.

Peppermint oil settles the stomach. If you have one eat a peppermint patty - this works! Or peppermint tea if you dont want the calories.

Something Peppermint or Ginger. Peppermint hard candies work pretty well. Diet Gingerale also works.

I take Ginger in a pill form. I always have some on hand because I get car sick really easy and it works awesome, yet doesn't make me drowsy like Dramamine.

Most OBGYN's agree that sugar is the answer. (that's why carrots work). You only need a little- less than 50 calories. Try some healthy carbs- whole wheat toast- fruit if you can.

    Good luck

Rice, crackers or bread. These will soak up the bile in your stomach and help settle it.

Mine used to be ginger ale and crackers or toast, but now I eat an apple if I feel nauseous. Ever since I had gotten preggo with my daughter, that's all that helps soothe my stomach. Unless I have the stomach flu.

My parents used to give me ginger ale, but I find ginger ale only makes me sicker as an adult. Honestly, I have no idea why, but tomato juice works like a charm for me. I get a little queasy flying, but if I have tomato juice (or even Bloody Mary mix) on the flight (with ice), somehow that settles my stomach. I tried to fly without drinking tomato juice during the flight, and I definitely felt terrible.

had this problem the other day due to whatever is going around.

missed dinner Monday; Tuesday i was hardly hungry for anything.

what did sound good : crackers, soup, a small number of mini eggs, and a lean beef cheeseburger.

what really mystified me is that i was no longer hungry for subway / other sandwiches. that's a big staple of my food intake. i think my appetite is more normal today.

In addition to anything ginger or peppermint as already mentioned (I like crystallized ginger for the convenience), I've used Coca Cola syrup in the past for nausea. Regarding any calories and sugar content, you're using these things as medicine, not for the taste or the sugar fix.

Ginger snaps, not too bad if you only have one cookie.
