Gym equipment

Hey guys, it's me again ;)

I get paid tomorrow, so will be going to buy some gym accessories before Hubby and I go for a session.

I am going to get a gym bag, sports bra, men's shorts (hey, they're comfortable *shrug*), a vest/top, some protein shakes and anything else that catches my fancy.

I also desperately need some good trainers/workout shoes.

Any advice? Especially on the trainers. What do I need to look for in terms of the trainers?

    not sure where you live, but i went to a peak performance and had them fit me....mine are adidas but they tried several on me and these were the most comfortable. never having spent that much money on a pair of shoes before, i needed the 'expert' advice. that's my two cents. :)

    I am in the UK, where are you?

    I am hoping to find a professional shop for this sort of thing instead of a chain store but I doubt it where I live.
