Loose Skin Naturally Improving Before and Afters

Come people put up pictures. Not all of us can afford surgery but want hope that there is a way of this naturally improving.
I've read and read and read that strength training and gaining muscle decreases loose skin but I've yet to see pictures that prove this.
Please show us your success. :flowerforyou: It doesn't matter what the method was ... you can put your pictures after surgery too but please note that it was from surgery.
Note: I am not suggesting that surgery is any "worse" or "better" than natural methods. I (and others) just can't afford it. :blushing:

When I lost 70 lbs I had no loose skin. I did it by going vegan and I exercised five days a week for at least three hours. I have gained weight back due to an injury. I am hoping that when I get back down and go down below where I was at before I will not have to deal with loose skin.0

I am still in the "before" stage, but improving. I found that a brisk loofa followed by cocoa butter cream really helps encourage the skin to rejuvenate itself. It is a slow process, but I do see slow results.0

This. Massaging 100% pure cocoa butter into the skin after a shower/bath is helpful.0 -
I hardly ever do this, but...bump.0

I'd love to see pictures as well, since this is a concern of mine as well.0

yes please share!!!!! I am ever so hopeful that it will eventually go away without surgery!!!0

Cocoa butter encourages the skin to tighten? I thought it was just for helping reduce skin discoloration. I have a little tire and I've only lost 1/5 of my goal. I'm hoping strongly that it tightens as I lose. I do stretching/yoga. I hope that will help. Lowfat dairy (kefir) seems to have helped in the past to "suck" my ab tires in.0

Bump...would love to hear from other people on this....0

I'm wondering the same thing. I take good care of my skin but I have a bit to lose, so I'm worried about having loose skin as well. Granted, I'm not letting it stop me from losing weight but I can't afford a surgery either to have it removed. I want to tone out too as well, but getting access to weight machines means I need to find a day when my boyfriend is home and he can use his card to get me into the student fitness center or going back home and using my mom's.0

I have no good news....I lost 100 lbs 4 yrs ago....I did have a tummy tuck which took 6 inches of skin off my belly and 2 inches of skin off my boobs.....my legs are a lost cause. I am looking into a laser type, non invasive thing to see if that will help. My legs I guess look some better, but not much. My 7 yr old likes to "jiggle" all of my loose skin left and he thinks it is fun watching it! Fun stuff, uh?? LOL!! For now, I am just accepting it....I can't handle another surgery for cost and recovery reasons.....maybe the laser thing will help? I should look into it.....0

Hi guys... I'll post a couple of pics. I dont have a lot of loose skin, but it has greatly improve after having 2 kids. I gained over 50# with my son. I have a wayy early before pic, but it is at home. The first pic was taken a few months ago before I started the Jamie Eason Live fit. The second pic was taken 2 weeks ago, skin is not as loose. Nellie_88, you look great and I definitely see the improvement.
I'm gonna have to look into Jamie Eason Live fit.
I've been doing Jillian Michael's work out DVDs. First 30 Day Shred and now Ripped in 30 and there has been some improvement in my belly button region but I really want more.
My before and after for 30 Day Shred are on my blog. I don't have any for Ripped since I'm still doing it but I'll have before/afters for that in a few weeks.

I don't think she said it happened after a couple weeks. I think she just said she took the pic a couple weeks ago. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
Either way, definite improvement!!0 -

I think you look great! Just keep with the program, you'll start seeing more changes in time. The Jamie Eason program is great, it lays out a meal plan and you work your whole body, not just abs. I love it!0 -
I had gastric bypass on 7/28/11 and have lost 97 lbs so far. I do have loose skin on my arms, inner thighs, and stomach. I do not want to have to go through surgery, so I am intensely working out. Since joining the gym 30 days ago, I've lost 3 inches on my hips, 1.5 on my thighs, 2.5 on my waist, and 1.5 on my biceps. With those results, I will continue to work out and increase the intensity.0

I use Sauve Cucumber lotion. I have an allergy to cocoa butter unfortunantly. But, I am using it everyday to help my skin stay supple! At least my hubby says its helping.0

wow, Nellie, that gives me hope! You look great! Thanks for sharing!0
