Nat, we should start bombarding Nissan with complaints
  • HAHAHAHA! Brilliant! Just think how many numpties in PR it passed before being advertised! Oooopppsss!
  • Awful. I also hate it when apostrophes are inserted where there should be none. "TICKET'S FOR SALE!" What?!

I like it when a wrong spelling is so common that people 'correct' me when I'm the only one in the room getting it right. That's my favourite

Oh definitely! That and when they say something like "tickets for sell." No dimwit, they aren't for "sell" they are for sale.

I overlook it on message boards and stuff like that because I don't expect everyone to be a spelling/grammar expert. But, FPS!, a professional BUSINESS should have a copy editor!

I'm so amused when there are spelling errors on ads or books ... I must be a nerd.

Also, while we're at it - even Nissan "got" it wrong, not "get." :P

I have a staff member who claims she was an English major in college, and she is very full of herself. She likes to put quotes in her email signature. This is her current one:

“Its always to early to quit...”

I have given up trying to correct her. If she wants to look like a fool to our entire department, I guess that's on her.

Well that depends, I suspect it wasn't an isolated incident and the OP was right
