Hiya,
Just noticed I've gone way over my allocated 25 sugar already today, just purely through having oats with milk and a banana for breakfast:noway: Can someone please take a nosey at my diary & let me know if they think i have the right sort of levels for everything? my carb/ cal/ protein are already set based on another discussion i had recently, but not sure what else i should really be tracking or what to set it to. Sugar as it stands seems a bit low?
PS I'm aiming to lose weight

Just keep the refined and added sugar in check, the natural kind have the nutrients and the original matrix that mother nature intended......0

Unless you're diabetic, sugar is irrelevant.0

I agree sugar setting is a bit low on MFP. The only sugar I'm concerned with is ADDED sugar. This is the processed stuff. I'm not sure waht the setting should be.
Sugar in milk is called maltose .... a natural sugar. Sugar in fruit is fructose ... again it's natural here. Fruit & dairy product provide other vital nutrients - vitamins, fiber, protein & fat.0 -
Yup...I had a nice well balanced breakfast this morning, and am over on sugar. Until MFP distinguishes between natural and added sugar, we are on our own to read labels and figure out if something has refined sugar in it. I avoid pretty much as much packaged food as I can unless I am having a treat.0

Oh yeah that sugar was from the banana and the milk i think. I generally try to avoid anything with too much added sugar. Thanks0
