severe nausea during run

During my run today, I got very nauseous. I still feel sick after resting for a half hour. Could it just be from the heat? I have been running out side for over a week, so I should be used to the work out. I only finished 3/4 of my planned run. I did eat 10 baby carrots about 1/2 hour before I went out. Maybe that was it. Any suggestions??

    Either to full of a stomach, to much water guzzling, or not enough of the right foods! High in protien is good or a banana or something. I know if I drink to much water I feel sick!

    Could be from dehydration or low blood sugar. You need to drink lots of water and eat something after your runs. I know if I go for a hard run and don't eat enough after I get extremely nauseated. Good luck!

    Could be dehydration. Make sure you are staying hydrated and you may want to add some salt to your food today, not much, and make sure you are getting plenty of vitamins and minerals.

    I have already drank my 8 glasses of water. I ate a banana and do feel better. Thanks for the suggestion! :flowerforyou:
