Do you like to LARP? Who do you LARP with, an organisation or friends?

I personally am a NERO fanatic of only 6 months (yes I am still a baby when it comes to LARPing).

Any fellow LARPers out there?

    Funny! No, I am not talking about "those fantasies"! :laugh:

    And at NERO we have lightning bolts too. Kind of corny I know, but there is an incant for it and everything. "I call forth lightning bolt 10!"

    I know there is a LARPing group near where I live but I've never had the time to join them. Plus, I'm pretty sure I know most of them and honestly I don't get along with the majority of known 'Larpers' around here...

    RPing is fun though. :D I've done that several times in my lifetime.

    I never have LARPed myself, but I've been an online roleplayer for years. A few of my Everquest friends LARP - I think one of them is in NERO as well. Looks like fun!

    I have LARPed in the past but I'm shy so it was only with a close group of friends and it wasn't fantasy so much as our own random made up characters for fun.

    I have cosplayed though and have a lot of friends who go to conventions to do so. :)

    I have cosplayed though and have a lot of friends who go to conventions to do so. :)

    I cosplayed once... at work... no one knew... because I cosplayed as one of those totally generic, boring characters that you could totally meet in real life. Hee.

    Went to the Gathering last year in the UK and loved it. Going back again this year. Otherwise I stick to tabletop RP, since most of my friends prefer that. Do treasure my mace though :P

    Loved that game as a kid and would love to try it as an adult. ;)

    When you think about it though, every movie actor ever is basically LARPing... except someone gives them their lines... and makes their character up for them.
