So my husband noticed that i've been spending a lot of time on my laptop today, which doesnt usually happen,
ESPECIALLY when i'm on Spring Break (which i am right now)
so he asks me what i'm doing
and i try to explain to him all the hilarious threads today and peoples responses.
He says
"oh okay lemme see"....
i move, he sits down.... and clicks on my friends.
I ask him what hes doing....
His response...
"whats this website for?"
Me: "Working out, weight loss, eating right...why? what are you doing?"
Him: "Just making sure all your friends are fat" >.>
RUDE! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
my husband is ridiculous.
he was disappointed hahahaha

I posted something about protein powder once, my husband was "fake" appalled at all the shirtless men who answered.0
-
that definitely sounds like husband.
he will sit there and be like, NO! you can only reply to GIRLS hahahahahahaha
and he will choose one on the screen and be like ADD HER!0 -
I was reading a very informational thread yesterday. My husband saw it and was giving me a hard time (jokingly) about the shirtless guys who had posted on it and how they were the reason I was reading it. So silly.0

do our men think only women are on this weight loss journey or what? they are so silly....... mine hasn't bothered me so much about it, but he hasn't "checked on me" yet. I just told him it's like facebook for fatties like me, so he doesn't have any interest........men0

Me too0 -
Lol! That's so funny!0

It works both ways, ladies. My (now ex) wife went ape-sh_t when she saw all of the female friends I had (at the time, not very many). I tried to explain that this site is heavily dominated by women, but you just can't convince a woman that things are above-the-table once she gets an idea in her head. I had to quit MFP until the divorce (not related to MFP though).0

Wives are snoopy too...0

My Mr. trusts me & I trust him. We've been through hell & back so we've earned it!0
-
Too funny! My husband doesn't pay attention and wouldn't care. He is the most non-jealous person I have ever met.0
-
Too funny...LOL0

Well, I decided to have only females friends because I did not want hubby to think that I was flirting with all of these shirtless men. He looks just as good as any of them, he is SUPER HOT, but it just isn't worth him worrying that I might meet someone (after 6 kids...really) haha!
But, I do keep coming back to these funny threads! The creepy guys one from PinkPakadurm was so funny and got deleted and now the white chick one too...there were some funny things on there!!!0 -
My husband had home time recently and kept asking who I was talking to when I would add to my food/exercise diary on my cell phone.0

Speaking for myself here... Yes I am!
Sounds like my husbands. When I'm all concentrated reading threads he sits behind me or next to me to "give me a massage", even though I like the message I know he is trying to see what I'm doing/reading.0 -

I'm a guy and have to say that rude is not quite the word I would use...... I've told my wife what all my friends (all two) here say and the support we are giving each other. Oh! and they are both female. LOL0 -
"facebook for fatties " GAWD!!! Now I have to clean the coffee off the screens.... Thanks for the laugh though!!!0
-
My boyfriend doesn't really care. That's not to say that he doesn't care about me or what I'm doing, he's insanely supportive and I'm glad to have him with me. It's just that he knows why I'm here and shirtless men aren't really a threat. Sometimes the shirtless men on this site have very resourceful and interesting things to say, so honestly I'm glad they're here!0

Sorry, I'll go get dressed.
HAHAHAH ^THIs0 -
Facebook for fatties, bahahaha.0
-
I would love to be able to post a picture "shirt-less" but I'm not there yet.
I have to say being on this site and reading all the posts and the support and motivation I get makes it closer.
If you've got it and worked for it show it off though.0 -
Sorry, I'll go get dressed.

Of my group of friends, 2 are men and about 10 are women. My wife calls the group my "tribe". In order to prevent any issues, I encourage her to look and read anything she wants whenever she wants and tell her about posts from friends that are funny.0
-
I've been trying to get my wife on here! But I tell her all about it and forward her links to some of the blogs people have posted that were worth reading.
She did tell me she feels a little neglected, and that I've become all consumed in watching my calories and talking to people about the different aspects of diet and exercise. So I need to find the right balance.
But if she'd just join the site.....0 -
Mine is the exact same way. He knows I am not doing anything wrong.0
-
If my hubby was supportive in anyway shape or form of me losing weight, I don't think I would have found this site to begin with. As for reading stuff on here.. BAHAHAHAHAHAH only thing he reads is a user manual to a new machine he bought, even then its usually just the pictures.0
-
ughhhhhh..I cant really comment (or i could...lol) but I only have female freinds now...I am here to only get fit, but my personality is pretty outgoing and comes off as flirting, even with chicks so...IDK what to say about that! Im just super loud..even when I type!! LMAO!0
