Hello friends, I've written a good amount of content for a graphic novel, and I need someone to draw the panels. I've tried to draw them myself, but have found that my art just isn't as good enough. I don't want the story to suffer because of the artwork.

Sooo is anyone here an illustrator, or someone who can draw well?

Is it appropriate to post something like this on the MFP forums anyway?

Let me know if you'd be serious about taking on a graphic novel with me. It will be self-published online. I will build the website, and I thought about doing a Kickstarter for promotional funding.

If nobody is interested, maybe we can simply chat about comics in this thread! What's your favorite comic or comic author? I quite like Transmetropolitan.

My kids are great arists, but they are busy with college, etc, and don't have time. My son draws cartoons and my daughter draws, er... anything, animals, people, she has done murals for pay. But she is in her last year of college and is very busy. I hope you find someone. Try craigslist.

Hm Craigslist may be a good idea. I'm a college student as well, so I know about being busy!

I'm looking for an artist who can draw semi-realistic. I really need someone who can create tight, realistic artwork that takes place in mostly interior spaces. High demands, I think, because I believe most comic illustrators do cartoons or superhero stuff. But if someone did superhero stuff, I'd say the anatomy could easily be transferred to a story about everyday people, which is what my story is about.
