I'm looking for a group tthat is about to start or has just recently started.Could you also tell me how to enter this exercise into my fitnesspal? What kind of meal plans have you been successful with while doing the program? I have just been watching my cals in vs cals out.... im looking to loose inches and weight ....Thanks!!

Someone posted on the success boards about a group that's started in the last couple of days - might be worth checking it out?!?
I completed day 22 today - I log it as circuit training which seems to be what most people advise. By the end of day 10 (end of level 1) I'd lost 12 inches and 3 pounds and by the end of day 20 (so once I'd finished level 2) I'd lost 7 lbs and 20.25 inches including 3 off both my waist and hips and 5 around my belly button - the changes in inches are unbelievable. I'm sure you'll have awesome success with it.
Level 3 I am finding hard but I am sooo excited to see the final results on this - good luck xxx0 -
There is an ongoing Jillian Michaels group: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/3594-the-ultimate-jillian-michaels-challenge0

I am starting it today, if I can get off my butt to push play and actually do it, or tomorrow. I'm just unsure how to actually do it. One poster said 10 days straight through for each level with no rest, another said to rest 1 day a week, and yet another said 2 days of the shred, 1 day of cardio, 2 days of the shred, 1 of cardio and rest on the 7th. It's confusing to me maybe i'm making something very simple very complicated.0

Day 2 for me today, and boy am I sore :0)
I plan on doing 2days 30DS, one day cardio. Apparently that is how it is meant to be done according to a podcast that JM did. It was in a previous post somewhere here on MFP. It sounds good to me any way!
Good luck all!0 -
I am just doing it straight - to be fair I'm not really doing much else - a zumba class once since I started and some very gentle walking at weekends with my family. Do it however it fits in with your lifestyle and whichever way means you'll stick to it - I vary between getting up and doing it at 6am before the children wake up and doing it whilst they are eating their tea - good luck x0

It's exercise. However you do it will work for you. The basic guidelines are to do it 5-6 days a week.
Take a look at a calendar. Pick a day to start and count off ten days. Complete each level within that 10 days. Try to do it 5-6 times within the first 7 days of that period taking 1-2 rest days. Then keep doing the same for each week. You'll change your level as needed.0 -

I get my 3 oldest kids out the door, get breakfast, get my 4 yr old settled into a project and then get to my work out by 7:30 or 8. Feel free to add me as a friend and we can help keep each other accountable! (I have a feeling I am going to need something to help keep me going on this )0

Did day 2 level 1 tonight and walked for 20 mins. Have I mentioned how much I hate pushups, jumping jacks, and the like? lol I feel better knowing it's over but I dread knowing I have to do it again tomorrow, lol0
-
Ok...I didn't start the same time as everyone else but the first attempt kicked my butt I am going to try it again.0

Day 3, done. My arms are quite sore.
What is everyone finding the most challenging?
For me, the cardio and abs are easy. The push ups, squat with shoulder press and the side lunges are tough. Looking forward to getting stronger :0)
Today I ate 1750 cals. Very hungry due to TOM around the corner! Normally I would have a binge and eat 3000-4000 cals easy....of the wrong food.0 -

I ended up going for a run after dinner last night (Day 1 of 30DS) because of a stressful/emotional weekend and I just HAD to work out the frustration. Surprisingly enough I don't regret the "extra" this morning like I thought I would. I am not excited to do day 2 but not completely dreading it either. We can do this!0 -
Day 3 level 1 completed. I have said it before but I'll say it again. I hate push-ups and jumping jacks! I thought this would be getting easier but it's just not seeming to. And I gained a freaking pound so I'm kind of upset. I figure I can A. quit but I don't really want to do that. B. throw my scale away, or at least hide it from myself since I just bought it, lol or C. Set my scale up so even though it will show my weight it will also show my body fat % and just try to focus on that number. Hopefully though if I stick with this I will start seeing the huge number on the scale become smaller...I hope!0

Had the DVD for ages, started day 1 stage 1 today Let's keep it going!0
-
Day 4 done. Def not as sore today. Arms and chest feel like they got a good work out :0)0
-
Did level one day 5 I hope I will follow through this time! I gave up before because of how it is so repetitive, but I hear of good results! So I def want to continue!0
-
Day 4 level 1 finished. It is repetitive but I see posts where people are posting amazing pictures so I am hoping I get some of the same results. Of course I'd also love to see the scale going down not up, with as much weight as I have to lose I'd think I'd being seeing both the inches and the weight going down but it's early yet so I'll keep on trucking0

L1D5 done and dusted. I really like how short and sweet the workout is. I was up at 04.30 for work......10 hr day, most if it on my feet. I am buggered now, off to bed.
Keep up the good work everyone :0)0 -
There is a bunch of us doing it in the month of April.

Just finished day 5 level one and I am so much less sore then when I started, almost not at all! I still have trouble with the push ups (even the modified ones, but can do 5 in a row now with out a rest!). How is everyone else doing? I had a NSV this week too!!!! My new skinny jeans are falling off me! (The bummer is I only got them about 1 1/2 weeks ago :frown: but I'll take it!)0

I did day 6 level 1 this morning. So far I've made sure to do it everyday with no breaks. I am rather proud of myself, lol. It's the dang jumping jacks and jumping rope that get to me, not to mention the last ab routine she has us do. But I did notice this morning that my endurance is much better. I don't have any skinny jeans (and the world thanks me for that, lol) I haven't really noticed a difference in my clothes but maybe it's because I haven't lost enough weight yet? I haven't even reached 10lbs but I'll get there...eventually0
