Memorial Day Challenge 2012

Hi guys,

I looked and haven't been able to find anyone doing one yet this year, but I'd like to start a Memorial Day Challenge! I like using holidays for these because it really gives you a set date for your goal and really motivates me to get in the gym! I'm going on a trip to Washington D.C. for Memorial Day weekend, so that is a great goal date for me! Today is March 25 and Memorial Day is in 64 days (just over 9 weeks). Feel free to join at any time!

Starting Weight: 199 (1/1/12)
Current Weight: 183 (3/25/12)
Memorial Day Goal: 165 (18 lbs lost from now)
Ultimate Goal: 155 and toned by my birthday in September!

    I love this idea! Here's mine:

    Starting/Current Weight: 161lbs
    Goal by Memorial Day: 150lbs
    Ultimate Goal: 140lbs and toned!

    I know I didn't set my weight loss for very much, but I'm strength training/toning, so I'm likely to be adding lean muscle. Also, with the menopausal issues, it's been SO HARD to lose weight!

    I don't know what weight I need to be at for my overall. I know what size I want to be and when I am toned and at that size I'll be done. I am guessing it is around 135-140.

  • I'm totally in! I just started on this site today and I was looking for something to motivate me through this first week and on. I need the afternoon motivation because that is what I just don't care ... don't exercise and don't eat healthy. Not good! As for my stats:
