So hard to get back on track after holiday....

Well, I lost 8lbs in 5weeks, happy days! went away for five days, ate and drank like someone who could afford to! not good:noway: .......now I'm home and soo very tired, clingy kiddies, toddler not sleeping at night, me eating at all the wrong times, not exercising half as much and tonight for the first time in a LONG time Ive binged on bad foods and gone overboard with my 'treat' of a glass of vino!!!:ohwell: back to work Monday and feeling bloated and back to square one:frown: ...havent weighed myself since I came back and I wont for a long while yet cos I know Ive gained weight.....where is the determination gone??????? Oh Im fed up

Two things happen when we go on vacation:
Either we come back, jump right back on the wagon and continue moving forward.
OR
We fall back into our old ways.
Chose the first one. Shake off the vacation and work on getting everything back on track. Go back to the way you were eating before. Workout when you can. I know it is hard to get kids back on track, so cut yourself some slack there. But, don't cut yourself anymore slack on eating. Tell yourself vacation is DONE.
I just came back from vacation last night. I ate like a PIG the entire time I was gone. You know what? My body is screaming for me to eat "normal" again. I feel bloated. I'm overtired. I feel dehydrated. So, today -- back on track. I miss how good I feel when I'm eating well. So, no more junk. I am all junked out.0 -
Thanks girls, very tired and bloated today so I am looking at it as 'today is the first day of the rest of my life'.....who knows it may just work! but Im not giving up, I just have so much guilt from eating everything and anything last night!:embarassed: :ohwell:0

Oh man...this totally describes me right now. I've been back from holidays for 5 days, and am still eating (and slightly drinking) like I'm still on holidays. I slipped while walking down a mountain, while away, and injured my knee. So, that's also holding me back from the workouts. And let's be honest, I can't imagine getting up 40 mins. earlier right now. I SOOOO need to get back on track. I had gotten so far, within a couple of months, Now I feel like I've undone it all within 2 weeks. This week, I must try to at least get my eating under control. I'll get back in to the modified workouts too....hopefully!0
