    When you type a reply...even "bump" lol.... it adds it to "MY TOPICS" on the message board for you. So people "bump" for easy access to the thread later.

    Hi guys,

    I looked and haven't been able to find anyone doing one yet this year, but I'd like to start a Memorial Day Challenge! I like using holidays for these because it really gives you a set date for your goal and really motivates me to get in the gym! I'm going on a trip to Washington D.C. for Memorial Day weekend, so that is a great goal date for me! Today is March 25 and Memorial Day is in 64 days (just over 9 weeks). Feel free to join at any time!

    Starting Weight: 199 (1/1/12)
    Current Weight: 183 (3/25/12)
    Memorial Day Goal: 165 (18 lbs lost from now)
    Ultimate Goal: 155 and toned by my birthday in September!
    I have a BIG reason to get slim by Memorial Day - I turn 30 the Thursday before!
    Starting Weight: 161 (1/15/12)
    Current Weight: 147.6 (3/23/12)
    Memorial Day Goal: 129 (18 lbs loss)
    Ultimate Goal: 111 by my hubby's family reunion in August

    I'm in! I could really use the motivation, and support! It seems to help! Friends welcome, as I love the added effort that support from a group helps bring out! :)

    Current: down 3.5 pounds total
    April 28th (my sister's wedding!): down 10 pounds total
    Memorial Day (and FL vacation!): down 15 pounds total - and more toned! :)

    ^^^My goal for Memorial Day is My Ultimate Goal! - 12 pounds until my Ultimate Goal!

    in for sure! i always use MDW as my bikini body goal, it's the kickoff for pool season, WOOT! :drinker:

    Interesting to see everyone's interim goals. I'm curious to know how everyone plans to achieve their loss by Memorial Day. I am currently doing Insanity workouts and am calculating a little less than a 2-pound loss per week. I look forward to sharing my results and hearing from everybody else by Memorial Day.
