What books do you recommend?

I have a gift certificate for Amazon.com that I want to redeem, for books. Kindle books!

Anyone have any suggestions? I already ordered "Defending Jacob" and the last two books of the Hunger Games trilogy. I also like true crime, autobiographies, thrillers, some chick-lit... basically everything excluding hardcore sci-fi and westerns.

What have you been reading lately that you might recommend?

    I like Michael Connelly, Harlan Coben, Ken Bruen, The True Blood Books, and Lee Childs to name a few. Michael Connelly and Coben have stand alone books as well as series..I really like the Cobens books..Happy Reading

    I liked the Looking Glass Wars trilogy by Frank Beddor. I'm also quite fond of John Steinbeck's books. There's also Stephen King, Philippa Gregory, Cornelia Funke, and Jack Higgins.

    Sharon Kay Penman books (historical fiction) Here Be Dragons is the first of a great series
