I really should not have had the mayo on there but I was looking for that taste. IT WAS TERRIBLE! Never will I get that burger again. I feel soo ewwwwwwwww. I wasted calories and sodium, Im so mad at myself. Ugh!
Thank you for listening to me rant. I feel nasty inside but I have a clear head.

I feel your pain I just had Guthries chicken fingers and now I feel like crap and I can already feel my pants getting tighter from the sodium. Oh well guess now I have to workout tonight:grumble:0

I hate when that happens. :grumble:
At least you can get back on track with your next meal.0 -
I had a fried chicken sandwich and I did enjoy it!:blushing:0

Don't beat yourself up. Maybe your body was needing something in that burger. Sometimes it is best to give into the craving for a time and then move on and get back on the healthy stuff. Just drink lots of water to combat the sodium and walk an extra lap to work off some extra calories.
It happens to us all.
Good Luck and keep up the good work

I feel you pain as well because I'm in the same boat....
I totally bombed at a office pot luck today....so now I'm considering doing a P90X tape AND play basketall to burn off extra calories :grumble:
Just gotta keep going and not let this side track us and use it as a reminder of why we like to eat healthy! So we don't feel like crap!0 -
We all do that. Nothing sucks more than wasted calories.0

I know how you feel. I have been eating like crap for like a week now and I feel tired and run down! I have to get back on track because I lost 14 lbs and I think I gained 10 back. I am to afraid to get on the scale. This weekend I have a 10 hr trip in the car one way and 10 hrs back. I really need to get on track by tomarrow or I will be pulling over to a fast food joint I can feel it. I feel so angry with myself!!!!YUCK0

Why not try looking at this from another angle, because this looks to me as if you learned a heck of a lot from this experience! You learned that the hamburger was not nearly as great as you had built it up to be in your head. You learned how it felt afterwards to eat it.
So I'm betting the next time you get that craving you will just utilize all the things you learned this time, and it won't be a problem.
So I'm thinking that blowing it this time was worth it, because you won't do it in the future.0 -
Im drinking water like crazy. Speaking of which I really need to refill my water bottle. I need to flush it out. Im so mad about that stupid burger.0

Its horrible I know the feeling, when you have a craving its hard to fight it. I'm actually going through it right now but I'm just constantly thinking the reasons I want to lose weight and it actually helps me. So I suggest you can do the same if you see yourself eating something thats not good just tell yourself how mad you will feel after

There's no point in being mad at yourself...think of it as a lesson learned.0 -

I've been craving a fat juicy burger for a while now too. I haven't given into the crave yet but after reading your post , I think I'll make my own and make it healthy. Hope you feel better.0 -

I couldn't have expressed it better :flowerforyou:0 -
I make my own burgers, they are half ground turkey and half ground beef. I make them into 4 oz patties and freeze them. I just pan fry them, no bun or condiments, except sometimes some blue cheese (
), of which a little goes a long way, and it satisfies the darn burger craving.

I gave up beef and pork over 2 years ago. It's actually a blessing when it comes to weight loss. I used to be hugely addicted to bacon cheeseburgers and big macs, but since my only option for fast food is now chicken...you get sick of it pretty quickly and just stop having fast food.0 -

I had a Big Mac a few years ago, and the first bite brought back nice childhood memories when my parents would bring us kids to MacDonalds as a treat. By the third bite, it's didn't taste so good. When I was done (I didn't finish it), I felt gross and my body felt worse. It cured me of every wanting a Big Mac again. My memories taste better than what I last experienced.0 -

Half turkey, half beef... like that idea, going to try.0 -
If you are ever craving something like that...Look up the calorie info prior to eating it. When you see that HUGE *kitten* number and think "how many miles to burn it off" it should make that craving go away or at least give you the will power to not let it happen.
I believe in tough love. So I cant say what everyone else has said to ya. You should have out done that craving by the 1st burger or gone for a burger that you KNEW absolutely without a doubt was the best one but its bygones now. Try and up your cardio a bit this week and move on.0 -
Make your own hamburger. It's really easy.
Get the healthiest burger bun that you can. Get lean beef for your hamburger patty or better yet get bison meat (lower fat content and leaner for you than beef). Load up on veggie toppings and presto! Delicious hamburger that nutritious and much lower in calories!!!!!!! :drinker:

I LOVE when that happens.................lesson learned!!
I started June 08 and had a vaction to the NE in August. I had been eating really well for 2 months, lost about 6 pounds, but felt GREAT!!
I was driving from upstate NJ to Boston alone, and miscalculated the time. I was frustrated and angry so I went to Mc Donalds for an iced tea.
When I got there they did not have my tea, so I became more frustrated and ordered
Cheeseburger
Filet o Fish
Fries
Coke
Ate them like I had not eaten in YEARS..........................and threw up the entire night.
Last Micky D's I have touched!! Lesson Learned!!0 -
