How To Up Your Calorie Goal on MFP?

I keep reading about upping calorie intake resulting in losing more weight. I think that might be my issue. MFP had me at 1290 per day, but last week after only 4 weeks I hit a little plateau. I also hadn't been eating back my calories lost through exercise. So really I was eating under my 1290 goal.
My question is, how do I change my goals on MFP to a higher calorie intake, while still losing 1-2lbs per week? I tried messing with it and think I just made it worse lol. Thanks!

Hit home, then goals. Then click the button to customize goals manually ( instead if having mfp do it ). Then change your cals that way.

And that's a link to find your bmr, and tdee.0 -
you need to change your goal to lose 1/2 or 1lb a week which will give you more calories a lot of people have found when they do that, they do lose more than the goal but aren't starving. you should never eat below your bmr good luck0
