I like just about everything but I find that rock...Aerosmith, GNR, Metallica mixed with top 40 (meaning whatever my kids are listening to) keeps my energy up. Especially if I'm on the treadmill....I really need a boost at the 1 mile mark and something about "Exit Sandman-Metallica" really pumps me up. Air drums anyone?

That's pretty much my iPod library! I've been on a Kelly Clarkson kick lately. I think I need something new though.

there is an iPhone App called Jango - I select the "80's Rock and Hair Metal" option - and off I go to get my exercise done ...... just realised though that it is not quite the same when I am working in front of my computer......off to find something more appropriate for doing project plans ;-)

Classic Rock is good to - but the one with "Hair Metal" really rocks ;-)

If you like hip-hop/rap genre music, most Bone Thugs N Harmony music is high tempo, however, the content may be objectionable to some. Also, on iTunes there was at one time a whole library of podcasts set at various tempo to help keep you moving at a determined pace.

Beat - as in rhythm, not as in physical abuse.
