So, I have been with my bf for 5 months now, howerer for this month He has been passing gas (farting) like he eats a sack of beans a day !
I mean I know it's normal but why can't he just move away ... it's constant and it's just so annoying , he has gotten way to comfortable.:grumble: now he even giggles...and maybe I don't love him enough that it bothers me that much ...lol
I don't think it's sexy at all...
I don't fart front of him
So when do you just decide it's time to lossen up ?

Mine started about 3-4 months in probably....I told him to can it until I was more comfortable. 6 months now and I can laugh about it, but I still appreciate it when he goes elsewhere. Explain to your beau that you have certain boundaries to maintain the sexiness in your relationship. Worked for me!

My husband probably waited a year. I fart more than he does but I blame the dogs; they don't think it's funny.0

He never catches me , at times I walk away and stand alone to let loose ..just to have him walk in out of nowhere and he can't even smell nothing..lol ...
Last night He sat next to me ...everything was silent when suddenly I was slapped by an awful smell eewww...he thinks it's funny... No Mr ...it's not sexy :P0 -

I never started, and haven't stopped. I am one eternal round. I am GasMasterFlash.0

I have only done it twice, and that was on accident. I just don't like it...doesn't feel girly to me.0

He started more once we moved in together, so around the 1 year mark. I usually don't make a big deal about it, though I might tease him about it or if it stinks smack him and ban him from the room we're in. (jokingly, of course)
Today though... He let one slip accidentally while we were getting busy. I laughed so hard, he started laughing too. Pretty much we just collapsed into a pile of giggles and the mood was completely killed.
Amusing as hell though.0 -
In 7 years, I never once let one loose with my ex. He did in front of me all the time, but I never did.
This is especially impressive considering that I had undiagnosed food allergies for most of the time I knew him (meaning I had a very unhappy tummy).0 -
I am always surprised by the number of people I know who told the person they were dating "i love you" long before ever passing gas around them. I feel that If I fell conformable enough to say "I love You" I should be comfortable enough to let you know I am human and pass gas.
Mind you I would still try to step off a bit and to not gas the one I love .... unless it was a really funny moment. :laugh:0 -
20-years... we still haven't.0

We didn't really pass gas in front of each other until we moved in together. Not because it's gross or rude, we just didn't spend a lot of time "just hanging around" prior. Now we both do it whenever and giggle about it and obviously 'fake' blame the dogs.

He "broke the barrier" about one month in. He tried to be gentlemanly and leave the room but it was so loud that I'm pretty sure the whole neighborhood heard. We live together now and I'm the gassier one; he hates it but I tell him it's his fault for creating the atmosphere of comfortability.0

Hahahaha....
I fart all the time, everywhere. It comes with the territory now that I'm eating so much healthier (holy cow do veggies and fiber cause the gas or what?!)
I should probably be taking some of the advice here, but I just tell my S.O. to deal with it. :P0 -
Ummm. Maybe it's gluten.... I happen to know someone who could toast the world until she realized that she was gluten intolerant.
(Give me a slice of wholewheat - I need ta reload...)0 -
My husband was in the Marines when we met and so I think he just thought farting all the time was ok! So I mean we were two three dates in top before he let them loose. Now I waited about four weeks before deciding that if he can do it so can I. But when I let my first one rip he about had a heart attack and looked at me like I grew two heads 4 arms and turned into a purple polka dotted elephant. I swear it I don't think he even could say anything for like an hour.0
