I include a home made tomatoe sauce in this recipe. :3 It makes about 20 meat balls.

Ingredients:

Meat balls-

1lb Ground Turkey
2tbsp Worchteshire
1tbsp Minced Garlic
1tbsp Italian Seasoning
1tbsp olive oil
2 eggs (4 egg whites)
1/4 cup parmesean
1/3 cup bread crumbs
Salt and Pepper to taste.
4 mozzerella string cheeses

Mix everything together but the mozzerella string cheese. Take the string cheese and cut it into 1 inch peices. Form meat ball, press your thumb into it and put cheese inside. Roll around in your hand for a bit and make sure the cheese is in the center. Repeat till all the meat is gone. Brown meat balls in a pan with cooking oil of your choice ( i used olive oil).

Per meat ball: 73 cals, 8g protein, 4g fat, 1g carbs. (they're pretty giant, i'd say 4 meat balls is a meal, and 2 w/ some pasta is a meal as well)

Sauce-

1/8 cup onions
1 tbsp garlic
1cup of diced tomatoes (no salt added with basil)
2 cups of whole plum tomatoes

Put it all in a blender. Blend till smooth. Pore over browned meatbals and cover over a low heat for 10 mins.

Sounds good to me...next time instead of just making ground turkey with tomato gravy for my pasta, I will try to make meatballs. Thanks!

They sound very nice. I think I'd omit the cheese for myself as I'm a cheese-monster and am managing better by leaving it out of my diet altogether. I wonder what the calorie count would be without the cheese?

Thanks for posting the recipe though - I've copied it.
