Attitudes Towards Food- My Success Story

Before my journey began, my diet consisted of mostly foods high in refined carbohydrates and sugar. I ate copious amounts of only these types of foods every day in life. I should add that I didn't drink much, but anything i ever did drink was very high in sugar.
I have realised that I do not NEED to have high carb/sugary foods. I always thought i would NEVER be able to stop eating refined carbs and sugar but since I have COMPLETELY stopped eating white bread, pasta and rice I have realised that i don't need them, and i don't crave them!! They are just empty calories!! I also attached a stigma to healthy foods, telling myself they would not fill me up, would not taste good and that i would not enjoy eating them but I am happy to admit i was wrong!!! I eat real, whole foods a lot more now and i genuinely enjoy them!
I can't yet see a major change in my body shape, but perhaps more importantly I can see a big change in my attitudes towards food. It was tough making the initial changes but now that I have, i will never go back to that way of eating again.
I hope this will inspire anyone who is having trouble dealing with changing their eating habits. It's not what the food is/has in it, but your attitude towards it that has the impact!
Good Luck Everyone!
