What's the noisiest food you eat?

I'm munching a particularly fresh and crunchy pack of Twiglets, Each bite uses my skull as an amplifier and echoes round the room, eliciting "shut the hell up" stares.

Can you beat that with noisier food?

    Wrinkled crisps (chips if you are American) are pretty noisy but I think twiglets would win in a head to head.

    But, why are most foods sold in cinemas so noisy. Individually wrapped sweets, popcorn, crisps, big buckets of coke with a straw. When I rule the world only soft/silent foods will be allowed to be sold in cinemas: marshmallows and hot chocolate (served in a china mug) probably.

    Kettle baked chips are pretty noisy... eating them right now and I can barely hear the music at my desk while I'm chewing... :laugh:

    I remember being in the maternity ward many years back and it was breakfast time. All the mums were quietly feeding their newborns, mine was kipping. There was a serene quietness, then the brekkie trolley comes round.

    "What would you like?" the trolley lady whispers to me.

    "Cornflakes please" I whisper back, trying not to disturb the other mothers and babies alike.

    I then proceeded to take my first mouthful and was mortified at the sound Cornflakes make when there is no milk on them (I don't like milk see).

    I stopped chewing and glanced around and then just could not help it, I literally collapsed into a heap of laughter, all resolve to be quiet forgotton.

    Do NOT eat cornflakes without milk!

    Corn Nuts..those things are pretty crunchy so they are noisy.

    ANYTHING MrWW eats when I'm trying to watch telly. Even moreso when it's something you really need to concentrate on, or at the vital twist in a plot that you NEED to know. :grumble:

    Corn Nuts..those things are pretty crunchy so they are noisy.
    I'd have Corn nuts and Twiglets face off in a crunch off and see which is louder.

    Also for noisy food, Pop Rocks are not really crunchy, but they are LOUD! lol

    For me it's raw carrots. Not only are they crunchy, but I get hiccups right after eating them--ahhh, let the noisy joy continue! LOL
