Is there a way to calculate how many calories you are burning from lifting weights, because it doesn't seem to come up on this site when you enter them in.

You cant go wrong with a HRM (heart rate monitor)0

Thanks! I was thinking about getting the one the advertise on here that works with the app, because I work at Best Buy for my second job, and we sell that in our stores.0

I agree with the HRM idea (and recommend the Polar FT4 or FT7), but you can also enter your weightlifting under "Cardio" and get a calorie estimate for now.0

Are you talking about the Fit Bit? If so I would go with a HRM. I believe Best Buy sells Polar HRMs. I love my Fit Bit but it does not give an accurate reading while lifting weights. It doesn't read your heart just movement of your body. I did Les Mills Pump and Shred this morning and HRM read 200 cals burned where as the Fit Bit read 95 cals burned.
