Tried it but I hate dealing with all the pulp. More or less, I just use my blender and drink it all down. It's a commercial grade blender so no problem breaking things down. It probably outblends the blenders you find at Starbucks.

i juiced for a while. i would make a juice every monring mon-fri. I mixed carrots, cucumber, celery, red apples, zuchini. my juicer is a GE brand from walmart for $40. i've had it and used it regularly for about 3 yrs and have never had a problem with it. I stopped juicing because it made me feel too bloated.

I have a Jack Lelane juicer and love it. Relatively easy to clean and the pulp goes in the pulp thing not in your juice... then u can trash it or use it to make other things.

I have a Breville Juice Fountain Plus.
It has a pulp separator in the pitcher, which works really well.
    Just love it!

My juicer is made by Breville. Juiced an apple, kale, carrots and a sliver sliced piece of ginger earlier today.
  • If you want all the optimal nutritional benefits you need a masticating juicer of a juice press. I use this one:

    http://www.amazon.com/Omega-J8006-Nutrition-Commercial-Masticating/dp/B001L7OIVI/ref=pd_sim_sbs_k_2

Not cheap, but I tried the cheapy jack lalanne and it was just ridiculous how little juice you got from produce. A shame...

Breville or Omega are the best home use brands.

My fiance & I got a Hamilton Beach juicer from Amazon. He had watched Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead (I think it was called.) & wanted to start juicing. I use it mainly for fruit juices every once & a while. But I think it works pretty well.

    Here it is: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FHQJ6C/ref=oh_o01_s00_i00_details

I use a Breville and it does a pretty good job. But the cleaning gets annoying but it is not hard..It is easier than the Jack La I Lanne..What type of blender are you using...I need a new blender and am looking for suggestions. One that will juice, also.

I use the same recipe a KimoMFP.
