What formula does MFP/you use?

A lot of people seem to be calculating their own REEs/TEEs. Does anyone know what formula the MFP uses as it's default?
If you've done it on your own, what formula did you use? Why?
*** I don't need to be taught about how REE/TEEs work. I'm just seeing a lot of people throwing out numbers and am curious about their sources.
