I just joined this site this morning and met my maximum calorie intake (1200). I am 5'6" and weigh 153lbs. I'm trying to lose about 15-20lbs in one month. I don't exercise much, but when I start counting calories, the weight usually falls right off (lucky me). I need to work hard at maintaining my goal weight, as I tend to gain weight quickly. This is a great site/app to keep me motivated. I need friends so I can see other people's progress and see what works for them. Good luck!

yay for you ordering bathing suits from VS! I'm not quite that brave just yet. I have the full coverage ones from lands end! lol i think its natural to want to lose the weight quickly, just don't set yourself up for disappointment. I would love to lose all my weight that quickly, but it just doesn't happen for me. You may be one of those people that it falls off very quickly, and if so...more power to you! I wish you all the best. I can tell you I ordered the pink method a few months ago, and it is a little brutal the first two weeks, but most people lost an average of 10 lbs just on the first phase. Maybe it would be something you were interested in if your wanting it to come off really fast? just an idea.0

I'm like you. I can lose quickly but need to stay motivated to keep it off or keep going if I reach a plateau. VS has some hot bathing suits. I may have to go tomorrow to get mine lol0

My goal is actually 14lbs in one month, and then I would like to lose about 8-10lbs more. I think that it is very doable, especially because the weight falls right off in the first week, for me at least. What is the pink method? Thanks for sharing!0

Hello! I have found that cutting all the excess sugar, esp in drinks--drinking mostly water or almond milk, and making most of my food from scratch has been the biggest help in losing my weight. I've been on here a long time, but I had been sporadic. Since I buckled down and started being more disciplined with it, I have not only hit my goal weight, I have maintained it and now I'm finding that I have to seek out more stuff to eat to stay here and not get too light! Plus, my measurements are looking better than I would have dared to hope for a year ago! Funny the littlest changes can have the greatest impact!
All this has been with very little exercise (like once a week, if that)... But I really want to get stronger now, so that's gotta come to an end. But with the progress I've made I'm much more encouraged now and excited to push to the next level
All the best to you as you push for your goals!! Stay healthy!!0 -
AWESOME! Congratulations and keep going strong0

Sounds like you are one of the lucky people that can drop weight fast. I used to be the same way. I just hit 30, so I think my mind switched my metabolism switch to "slow"
Good Luck, I'm new here too, Add me if you want!0 -
i saw the pink method girls on dr. phil and the the doctors back in november. i ordered for my birthday in january. i was expecting to get started with the workouts when it arrived. what they didn't tell you on the show is that there is a reset phase when you start that last from 10-14 days. you basically drink a whey protein shake every morning, a protein for lunch, and a protein for dinner. side items and snacking is veggies only. it was a VERY restrictive diet plan. believe me, i probably would not have spent $80 on it had a known it was that restricted. Its no wonder people were losing weight so fast! lol i last like 4 days bc i passed out on day 4 and we thought it may have been from me not eating enough calories. (it turned out i was really sick) anyways, i decided to just do my own eating plan and use the dvds instead for my workouts. I feel like i need to get "some" use out of the program being that i spent 80 bucks on it!! but if you are interested in the reset phase, i can make a list of the forbidden foods for you and let you know what the plan is. no need for you to buy the program when you don't work out. just let me know!!!0
