Losing weight but not inches?

Hi all,
I've lost 7lbs in the last 2 months which I'm happy with. I've been eating well and exercising (30DS, running, horse riding and cycling), but I noticed that I've hardly lost anything inch wise!
The only real difference I've noticed is my stomach being flatter and my biceps more toned.
Will the inches loss start to go with the lbs?
I'm going to up my strength training and calorie intake by 100-200 calories, but does anyone have any idea what I can do to shift the inches as well as the lbs?
Thanks!

I have the opposite problem...........the inches are going and the scale is moving like a snail.............I do Cardio and of course watch what I eat............Treadmill (at times), Zumba and Aerobics with strength training (weights)............keep up with what you are doing and the inches will follow as with me the weight will follow later.............good luck0

Are you SURE you haven't lost inches? Cause I was thinking the same thing about myself, but since my clothes are much looser and I can visibly see changes in my body, I decided my initial measurements must have been off. Maybe I was holding the measuring tape too tight?? Who knows! lol
The fact that you can SEE changes (flatter tummy, etc.) is a good thing!
I'm going to guess the people on this site that can give you the real advice are going to need more info from you.
Best of luck!0 -

Well, this is where I'm confused!
I have a pair of Topshop jeans which were a waist 32 (a UK 14), which became too big on my waist. Yesterday I bought a pair that were a waist 30 (UK size 12). So I thought "I must have lost inches!", measured this morning, exactly the same as a month ago! I think you're right and I was trying to pull the tape measure too tight when I took my measurements the last time!
I'm going to make a few changes to my routine and hope I see some results!
chell53, it's fantastic that you're losing the inches! Well done I'm sure the weight will start to drop off soon enough!
Thanks everyone for the help0
