30 Day shred.

Yesterday morning was my first workout since I got pregnant. I am now 6 months postpartum, and lets say it kicked my butt!!! I woke up this morning in a lot of pain, but I worked out anyways!! And guess what! I feel great. I am sure I will hurt tomorrow morning. But I didn't feel the pain at all during my workout.

    Day 3 on the 30 day shred. My calfs are very very sore! But my arms feel great today. I will be staying on level 1 for this week. I hope to head to level 2 on Monday.

    I see a lot of you are doing other work outs besides this..... but I don't feel like doing Tae Bo. That's the only other program I have at home. I am not sure what else to do yet. Any input?

    I just bought the 30 day shred today and plan to start after work...how are you doing on it?

    I've been doing it for about three weeks now (one week at level 1 and then two at level 2). I love it! My calves were very sore after the first few workouts even though I run four or five miles a day. I think this program has really heped me strengthen my abs and hips and I'm setting new records in my personal running goals. :drinker:
  • Today is day 9. I always work out first thing in the morning...but today I have to put it off until later. I feel so guilty...so I know I will squeeze it in somewhere. As of this moment, I am only doing the 30 day shred and sort of watching my calories. I breastfeed, and I just can't see dropping down to what MFP says to. But I have lost 2 inches...not in my chest of my waist like I would like though ! The level 1 workout is getting pretty easy. I will go ahead to level 2 on day 11. My arms still shake with the second set of pushups and I really want a few more days to work on that!

    I did the first day yesterday and I can tell you that I definatly feel it in my quads....which is crazy because I have been bike riding for 4 weeks now and would think that it would be the last place I would feel it.
    But thats a geat thing....I will keep ya posted.

  • I decided to try out level 2 tonight. Wow! It's a great workout. We will see if I hurt in the morning :)

    I did "day 2" yesterday of level one....holy cow I can bearly walk today! I am hoping that by friday I am past the crazy pain!!
  • I couldn't walk very well either!! But it WILL get better. I am on day 12 now...and I am only a little sore. I really like this workout. But level 2 really kicks my butt. I find I have to do the easier stuff sometimes.

    This morning was day 4 for me I took the night off yesterday but went for a bike ride. I did need the break...my quads are bearable today so I see the light at the end of the tunnel :smile:
  • Today would have been day 13, but I am taking a break. My left ankle is a little sore, and I don't want to bother it anymore. I sprained it a few years ago... and it always buckles on me. I surely don't want to make it worse. I will start back up tomorrow, after a little break today.

    you ladies should come join our "spectacular shredders" thread too :) we all just meet and check in with how we are doing and give motivation if it seems some one needs a little motivation :) You're more than welcome to come hang out with us there too!

    and GREAT work with the Shred ladies! It really kicsk butt!
