I tried this the other day - chocolate covered ice cream on a stick. Ugh the artificial sugar in them gave me a massive headache and stomache. I had to try them a couple of times to make sure the ice cream was the culprit. :laugh:

If you are sensitive to artificial sweetners STAY AWAY.

    Is the artificial sugar NutraSweet? The reason I am asking is that I am allergic to NutraSweet and what you are describing is exactly what happens to me when I eat it.

    It is frustrating because just about everything sugarless has NutraSweet in it.

    I've tried the lo-carb ice creams. I don't eat them often because i am trying to get out of the habit of eating ice cream in general except on special events, but I liked the low carb ice cream just fine. I haven't ever had a problem with splenda though.

    Splenda is not good for you, neither is aspartame or any of those other artificial sweetners.
