Mila Seed?

My roommate was given some Mila seed's to try. Has anyone heard of them? She told me about all the great things about them.
IE the amount she puts in her water has 500 more times the calcium then spinach does.
I guess they are pretty expensive too.. Any thoughts on this?
I am not interested in trying them, and she is not doing it to loose weight.

From what I know about Mila seed it is a very expensive organically grown blend of Chia seeds that is ground into a fine powder. It can then be mixed in with wet foods to add fiber and other nutrients. It is very high in Omega-3 Fatty acids as are Chia Seeds. I wouldn't spend a lot of money on them. You can get similar benefits from Chia or Flax seeds and grind them to get rid of any unpleasant texture.0

Yeah, she thinks it's like a miracle..
But it's like 65 for a bag..
I dunno, another "scam"?0 -
I wouldn't pay $65 for it. You can get great Omega-3s, from Olive Oil, Salmon, Flax. If you eat well you get the Calcium , fiber and other nutrients in your diet. There are much less expensive supplements such as Chia and Flax seed that give you the same benefits.0
