Some days I'm stronger than people give me credit for and some days people think I'm stronger than I really am. In the last year or so too many things have changed in my life. With the end result of me feeling sluggish over weight and just plain exhausted. I feel like these last couple of years I spent way to much time helping everbody else and not my self. Well that is all changing as of today. Today I have my life back. I put things in perspective and this is what I am doing to take back my life that some how flew away with me.
1. Moved from a unhealthy relationship- Completed but he still wants to work things out.
2. No more dwelling on loved ones I miss there in my heart and always will be there.
3. New persective on career, if it happens it does but this time I am not killing myself so everyone else looks good.
4. New car for new attitude :) Completed a few months old now.
5. Started a healthy diet with guidance.
6. Hired a personal trainer and booked 30 sessions.
7. Enjoy the walks and sunsets on the beach even if I am all sweaty from a work out.
8. Getting up with the attitude that nothing can stop me but me!

So here I am all alone in a state that I have no family or friends but I have everyone out there reading. So if you have something encouraging to say please share it. I would love to hear it.

If your actions cannot prove the truth of your words, then silence is my reply!

Sounds like you have a great plan in place ~ that's a big step!! There is no time like the present to begin concentrating on YOU! For years, I too put everyone above myself. I finally realized a few years ago that I wasn't as happy as I could be, or SHOULD be. I also realized that I was the only one that could do something about it ~ so I did!! I lost 30#, gained a new self-confidence and I feel better than I have in quite some time! Don't get me wrong - I still have my days (who doesn't?) - but life is good - I'm happy!!!! If you're looking for a friend - feel free to send me a request!

My first day of the rest of my life!

THIS is the best attitude you can have, hands down. Stick with it and one day you will look back at this decision and think "This is where my amazing new life started".

Great post, great plans, thanks for sharing and best of luck!

Small steps climb mountains...my first step started on 2nd July 2011 and has been so worthwhile. Stick positive messages all over your home to remind yourself what a great person you are and how you'll feel along your journey :o) We're never alone when we love the person inside...Good luck and congratulations on taking your first steps
