Help! Oral allergy syndrome!

I struggle a lot with getting enough fruits and veggies in, with busy days and my allergic condition to raw fruits and veggies it's hard to think of other options.. any suggestions you brilliant Fitness Pals?

Can you eat the foods if they are cooked? Or do you need to avoid them altogether?0

We have that in our house too. Do you have it narrowed down to what causes the reaction? After that, I'd do a google search for substitutes.

I can eat them cooked, it's simply a matter of finding the time in the day to do so, usually on the run.
Sometimes when they are wrapped in bread it doesn't burn so badly.. haha0 -
My husband has this same allergy! It is pretty rare. I know my husband will either have a benadryl or blanch his veggies. Usually the quick cook is enough to take out whatever bothers him. It is hard to deal with sometimes. He tried raw corn on the cob and it almost killed him.
