Hi all,

I'm back for a second stint and need some encouragement.I lost 18 lbs last time, but have put 5 back on, so i'm looking at a 13 lb loss so far. The worst thing is I have stopped exercising and starting drinking quite a lot, which is expanding my waistline!

I'm planning starting the couch25k again after chrimbo, I got to week 8 last time.

    Ha ha!

By the way ... "Chrimbo" ... You're not from Shrewsbury (forgive the hateful N.A. spelling) or Derby by any chance? Or is this just a general British thing?

    Hi!

No I'm from the south. Not sure where the saying comes from? Yahoo says "Crimbo is a slang term that started in the innercity New York and Chicago in around 1930's", so I'm throwing that back at those in NA lol.

The good news is I'm down to 12st 2-ish now and have managed to go 7 weeks without any alcohol! :) I really need to start my diary again ;-S

Money is generally getting tight here in England, so saving on booze is helping quite a lot.

I'm in a similar boat. I dropped almost 60 pounds last year and have put back on about 30 since December
I have only myself to blame.
Trying really hard to get my self discipline back on track. So hard lately.

My problem seems to be the exercise. Even the 'easy' Couch25K leaves me absolutely shattered. I got to week three again and stopped as I was finding it hard to find a regular time to do the runs and to be honest I have to force myself to do it. I didn't help that I felt rough the last week of it that I did.

I have some renewed vigour this week, so will start from week 1 again this weekend!

Anne: Have you tried the couch to five k? If not what exercises do you do? I could do with some tips. :)
