It does me. Can't really articulate exactly why, but makes me want to vomit just a little bit every time I read it on here, which is A LOT.

lol, I think I have used that... for me it is, I guess. It would be, its new for me, much like a new journey or adventure. I have a lot to lose and need to get there and I know it will be a journey doing it, I will see things that will intrigue me and things that will scare me. Its my journey to becoming a new me... ok, sorry, I used journey so often in this post I am sure you have now lost your lunch...

I think it would have that effect on me, if I didn't know that you get little rewards all along the way -- not just in a heap at the end!

It does sort of add saccharin like sweetness to the entire concept for shedding pounds doesn't it? Makes it kinda sound like you're loading up the ship with your merry band of pirates about to set out to conquer the world... clearly it is too early in the morning for me to be contemplating this...

True, it is the sort of thing you hear in bull**** management theory -- all that lofty talk that's often just talk.

Maybe it is the thought it provokes, being overweight and lazy? I prefer to think of it as my "journey of self discovery and personal awareness"
