I just turn on the tv or music and hop on the elliptical and go!

Love the elliptical. I do an hr. at a time doing hill intervals. Music is a must! I have found that it has improved my leg strength tremendously. Lower body strength training is much easier for me than upper body.

Put on my iPod and play a playlist that's about 50 mins long.

Start the elliptical, put it on a setting where I can feel a slight "tug" in my legs.

Moderate pace. Keep it there until the playlist ends.

Do the workout four days per week.

I hate the elliptical!!! But, I do 3 sets of 6 minutes in between my sets of strength training, so it's not too bad
  • I love the eliptical and use it almost every day. I didnt love it at firat but I have seen the most difference with strength, weight loss, toning and endurence on it. I am trying to lose weight everywhere but really concerned about losing the stubborn tu,,y and its working! I throw on a headphones and a funny show and go. Its amazing how quickly my endurence for that has increased and Im able to increase speed and resistence. Good luck!
  • oh thanks everyone, I'm pleased to hear of the results.

I rented one here in Australia, it's an infiniti and so far very pleased. I find that I can do about 25-30 minutes.

The iPod is a great idea, we have the elliptical behind the couch so right smack dab in front of the flat screen. I tivio'd the love boat, but it really does not have that lovely 'get up and go music' :/ PMSL

To the last poster, I really too need an all body workout, esp for my upper arms. I do weights. I do a lot of walking too, but needed something for the upper arms.
