Twitching

Been working out hard and pushing myself (pushing as safely as possible, trying to avoid injuries at every cost). But anyways, I've been noticing that after a 35 minutes stationary bike my legs would twitch...A LOT. Also, after a 1 hour 45 minutes boxing training session yesterday I found alot of my body parts doing kind of a jerk in sleep. Like I would be all nice and curled up when all of a sudden my leg would kinda kick out.
Anyone know if its something for me to worry about? Not gonna see my trainer till Monday and I wont be working out hard till then but would like to know if anyone have experienced this and what not

I used to do this and it drove my wife nuts :ohwell:
It just passed for me as I got fitter, never do it now, I doubt it's something to worry about (Unless you have a SO that is not impressed by being kept awake by it )
As for the post workout twitch, well after 5hours on a bike my calves twitch so bad it look's like someone is playing bongos on them! :laugh:0 -
Awesome, thanks man. Single guy but was just odd behavior to be throwing kicks out unvolunteeringly0

That's weird... my husband twitches really violently in his sleep sometimes, it's scary. I guess it's normal though? Hmm.0

I've been curious about this, too. I've recently started lifting heavy, and after the second session, I started twitching violently in my sleep. I often lay a curled hand next to my head on the pillow, and I've whacked myself in the nose or forehead several times. Not a nice way to wake up. I also kick my husband so hard my toes hurt. I've always been a little twitchy when falling asleep, but never like this.
Is there a remedy?0 -
Sound like benign fasciculations. These can occur following heavy exertion, or too little magnesium.0

Try drinking energy drinks which contain "electrolites" That seemed to help me x0
